CRADLE MOUNTAIN DAY TOUR

At Cradle Mt, we view Pencil Pine Waterfalls, a pleasant, easy walk along the river, called the Enchanted Walk. Then we head to Dove Lake and walk to Glacier Rock.

Wineglass Bay Freycinet Day Tour
Depart ex Launceston 08:30
Tour goes via Ross, an historic town famous for its beautifully carved stone bridge built by convicts. It is also home to the Wool Centre of Tasmania. We will have a short visit to the Wool Centre and see old churches and historic stone cottages. The famous Ross Bakery is included in the itinerary. It is the Australia's oldest wood-fired bakery still baking breads and pastries in traditional way. Japanese anime characters Kiki and Jiji play a role in this bakery.
Then we head straight to Coles Bay, the entrance to Freycinet National Park. Coles Bay beach is a cool, white sand beach. We then climb up to Wineglass Bay lookout. It is a challenge but rewarding, with spectacular views and an excellent opportunity to get rid of some extra padding.
After that, on the way back to Launceston, still in Freycinet National Park, we may stop by an oyster farm and taste succulent fresh oysters to replace lost energy. Oysters or any other food or drink is at your own cost. Tour ends in Launceston at about 17:30 pm.
